Maryland Regional Indoor League MRIL u14, u16, u19

This league is designed for club teams to play in a competitive league that will grow regional competition within Maryland.  
U14, U16, and U19 age divisions

Venue is Indian Creek Upper School Tennis Dome: two brand new sport courts with plenty of sideline area!

2, 20 minute games per week on Sunday evenings

COVID considerations:
15 minutes to arrive/depart to minimize players inside the venue.
All players from earlier session will depart prior to any players entering for the next session.
No spectators allowed inside the dome.
When not involved in games all coaches, players, umpires will be masked.

14 games guaranteed based on maximum participation.

Clubs may have multiple teams per age division.

Roster size: minimum 8, maximum 14.  

Players may only play on one team per age division.
Players may play in multiple age divisions. 
U14, U16 boys must play up an age division.  

Challenge Format to increase competitiveness.

Weeks 1-6: Dec 7, 14, 21, Jan 10, 17, 24
1 round robin game followed by 1 crossover game where winners of first game play each other and losers of first game play each other.  
Round robin games worth 2 points for a win.  Crossover games worth 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie.  

Week 7: Jan 31
Crossover playoffs, 2 games per team based on league performance to determine final standings.  

Registration: $1100 per team

Early registration is recommended due to limited court time and availability.  Only one team per club per age group.

When: 7 Sundays Dec 12, 19, Jan 9, 16, 23, 30, Feb 13

u12: from 1:00-2:30pm (tentative)

u14: from 2:30-4:00pm (tentative)

u16: from 4:00-5:30pm (tentative)

u19: from 5:30-7:00pm (tentative)  

Where: Indian Creek Upper School Sports Dome (1130 Anne Chambers Way, Crownsville, MD)

Format: 6 weeks of round robin play: each night: two 25 min. games,  Week 7 playoffs based on standings!

Who: 6 teams per age group: u12, u14, u16, u19

Price: $1100 per team plus 5% processing
